Director and Principal Stylist
Kell originally trained as a hairdresser with Scandinavia’s leading group of salons in Copenhagen, Denmark. He moved to London in 1989 and joined First Academy salon on Westbourne Grove. After two years he joined forces with another stylist to form Parsons Skött, also on Westbourne Grove. After 7 highly successful years it was time to go it alone and Kell opened Kell Skött Haircare in December 2002.
Kell is highly skilled in all cutting techniques and is particularly good with curly hair and fine Scandinavian hair.
If Kell wasn’t a hairdresser, he would be a professional racing cyclist.
Kell’s dream client would be Michel Roux – he is such a genuine, enthusiastic and positive person.
Kell cuts at Golborne Road on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and at Lambton Place on Friday and Sunday.

Principal Colour Technician
Louise was born and raised in Wimbledon, London. The thing she loves most about the area is the people who live there. With her mother being a hairdresser, Louise started training at Cobella and then met Kell at Parsons Skött where she continued her training before qualifying as a Colour Technician. She then joined Kell Skött Haircare as a founding member of the team. She loves the buzz of the salon, the vibe and meeting new people every day.
The celebrity she would like to meet at the salon: Stephen Fry “I would like to get the chance to quiz him”.
If she weren’t a hairdresser, Louise would be a maternity nurse.
Louise colours at Lambton Place on Fridays (10.30am-6pm) and at Golborne Road on Wednesdays (10.30am-8pm).

Principal Colour Technician
Vicky was raised in Hampshire, a place she likes because it is in the countryside, away from the madness of London, with a great coastline.
Vicky’s older sister worked at Vidal Sassoon and she was the one who inspired Vicky to try hairdressing. She joined First Academy salon on Westbourne Grove in 1991. There she met Kell and five years later she joined him up the road at Parsons Skött where she remained for seven years. Once again she followed Kell down the road, this time to Kell Skött Haircare on Golborne Road.
What Vicky likes most about hairdressing is its sociable and flexible nature. The celebrity with the best hair look at the moment: Lady Gaga – her looks are amazing; she does a really good job combining hairstyle with clothes.
If she weren’t a stylist, Vicky would be a counsellor.
Vicky cuts on Wednesdays at Golborne Road (11.00 to 18.00) and on Sundays at Lambton Place (10.15 to 5.15).

Principal Colour Technician and Stylist
Shyli started her career in hairdressing aged 14 as a Saturday girl. She joined Kell Skött Haircare in February 2004 as a trainee and qualified in October 2006. Her hard work and ambition has meant she has since worked her way up to Senior Stylist and Principal Colour Technician and recently passed the prestigious Wella M.C.E (Master Colour Expert), she is one of just 20 stylists in London to hold this prestigious accolade.
Shyli is currently on maternity leave.

Senior Stylist and Colour Technician
Sandra was born in Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and moved to London together with her family when she was 9 and it is here where she feels at home. She got into hairdressing because she wanted to make people feel good about themselves. After graduating from her hairdressing courses at Kensington and Chelsea College in 2003, Sandra started her love story with Kell Skött Haircare. She qualified as a stylist in 2005, extended her skills by attending an intensive creative cutting course at Vidal Sassoon in the summer of 2006 and two years later she was promoted to Senior Stylist and Colour Technician. Sandra is now extending her skills further by training to become an education assessor in hairdressing.
From all celebrities, Sandra would pick Kate Middleton to be her client – “because she has amazing hair and I like her style”.
If she weren’t a hairdresser, Sandra would be a professional dancer.
Sandra colours and cuts at Golborne Road from Tuesday to Saturday working a late night (until 9pm) on Thursdays.

Principal Colour Technician and Stylist
Bartholomew (Bartek) was born in Lodz, Poland, and has lived for short periods of time in France before coming to the UK. He choose to settle down in London – “the city that allows you to be whoever you want to be, it gives you freedom to express yourself”.
Bartholomew always wanted to be a hairdresser and started working in the industry at age of 14. “I have always enjoyed playing with hair; somehow throughout the years the love and passion grew in me.”
He joined Kell Skött Haircare in May 2010 and recently became a Master Colour Expert an accolade that just 20 colourists in London hold.

If he weren’t working in hairdressing, Bartholomew would be an event manager.

Senior Stylist and Colour Technician
Vincent was born and raised in Cadiz, Spain, a town that has wonderful beaches, countryside, and great weather.
The idea to create is what inspired him to get into hairdressing. He came to London in 2009, looking for a different kind of place to develop his skills. He trained at Sanrizz in Knightsbridge before moving to Antenna, the extension specialist in Kensington. After a spell running his own salon in Tenerife, he returned to West London and has been working at Kell Skött Haircare since March 2011.
He would love to work on Katie Price’s hair.
If he weren’t working in hairdressing, Vincent would be a vet.
Vincent is fully trained in the application of Monofibre hair extensions.
Vincent cuts and colours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at our Lambton Place salon with a late night on Wednesday.

Senior Stylist and Colour Technician
Malwina comes from Poland and grew up in a town called Gromnik: “Oh, it’s beautiful, because it’s really green and small – everyone knows each other and they are so friendly”.
She moved to London in October 2007, to gain some experience in hairdressing, but also to have fun, meet other people and see how it is to live in a different country. Malwina has always liked working with hair, even when she was a child – she used to do hair-ups for her friends or sisters. “Hairdressing is really creative; with a haircut and colour you can change the entire look.”
She trained in Poland before coming to Kell Skött Haircare as a trainee and in 2009 she graduated as a stylist, before progressing to senior stylist in August 2011. Malwina now has a very loyal clientele who appreciates her skills and cheerful personality.
The celebrity with the best hair look at the moment: Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays – because her hair always looks nice, the haircut is perfect for her shape and works really well with her hair type.
If she weren’t working in hairdressing, Malwina would be a chef.

"Hairdressing makes it possible for me to be an artist, a sculptor. I am using hair as material for my sculptures."
Raul was born in Tenerife, Spain, an island formed of a special rock, which he considers to be very special, "magnetic and powerful". He moved to London in July 2009, to learn a second language and to continue growing as a hairdresser.
Raul has over 10 years experience in hairdressing. He likes big challenges - big changes, difficult hair.
From all celebrities in the world, he would love to have Dita von Teese as his client.
Raul is fully trained in the application of Monofibre hair extensions.
If he weren’t a hairdresser, Raul would be a sculptor.

"Hairdressing is like a journey - you always learn something new, you always experiment."
Makiko was born in Tokyo, but grew up in Chiba, a nice town near it. She came to London 7 years ago and started training to be a hairdresser at London College of Fashion and Windle salon in Covent Garden. After a brief return to Japan where she studied Make Up, she returned to the UK to continue her training and obtain her hairdressing qualifications.
She would love to meet Johnny Depp in the client's chair - "His work makes him open to having various hairstyles; it would be great to be creative with his hair!".
The celebrity with the best hair look at the moment: Drew Barrymore - "The ends are lighter than the rest of the hair and give her a natural, nice look; the hair colours suit her skin face."
If Makiko weren’t a hairdresser, she would be a visual merchandiser.

Lukasz moved from Wroclaw, Poland in 2006: “Here I have more opportunities to learn and to become a hairdresser and I also think that life is more exciting in London”.
His grandmother was the one who inspired him to get into hairdressing: “I love it when people are happy about the change that I have given to their look”. Before coming to Kell Skött Haircare in 2009, he trained in Poland and West London. Lukasz is working hard towards qualifying as a stylist and already has a loyal following of blow dry clients.
Lukasz would love to cut and colour Victoria Beckham’s hair.
If he weren’t working in hairdressing, we would see Lukasz on screen, acting in films.
Lukasz works as a Senior Assistant at both our Golborne Road and Lambton Place salons.

Senior Reception and Salon Co-Ordinator
Sandra was born in Riga, Latvia and has lived for periods of time in UK, Greece and Cyprus before settling permanently in the UK.
She has a degree in Banking and Finances but chose to leave it behind 6 years ago to join the creative world of hairdressing.
With 5 years experience in managing a salon in Cyprus, Sandra brings her talents to our front of house at Lambton Place.
If Sandra wasn’t working in hairdressing she would work as a fashion stylist.
If Sandra could welcome anybody to the salon it would have to be fashion designer Christopher Kane. "Kane is an utterly original talent, a maverick mind who finds beauty where others don't even begin to look".

Ana is originally from Kazakhstan. She came to London in December 2003, for a one-week holiday, but she decided to stay!
She was looking for a career in either beauty or hair; in the end, she felt that hair care is more important to people. Ana has been at Kell Skott Haircare since 2009.
Ana’s vision in hairdressing: “I want to express myself and make people happy and feel good. Mostly I like to do hair ups: interesting, unusual looks that catch the eye”.
If Ana could choose any celebrities to style, she would choose Paloma Faith: “She needs to change her colour a little bit, because she is always the same”.
If she weren’t working in hairdressing, Ana would be a fashion designer.

Nanami was born in Shizuoka, Japan, and moved to London in June 2009, to become a famous hair and make-up artist: “At the age of 16, I fell in love with all the beauty magazines and started to dream of doing this".
She trained at a salon and college in Tokyo before coming to London and joining Kell Skott Haircare in April 2011.
The thing Nanami loves most in hairdressing is the opportunity to meet different people every day!
From all celebrities in the world, she would love to take care of Angelina Jolie's hair.
Nanami is also a trained make up artist.
If she weren’t a hairdresser, Nanami would be an actress.

Hollie is a born and bred Londoner, passionate about hairdressing since she was young.
She started her training in cut and colour at 16 and dreams of becoming a top stylist.
Hollie joined our team as Assistant in October 2011. Her favourite products are Sebastian Professional shampoos and she loves doing head massages.
Favourite celebrity hair looks: Angelina Jolie or Cheryl Cole.
In her leisure time, Hollie usually goes shopping or clubbing with friends in the West End. She loves pizza and watching "Friends" and would love to have another holiday in the USA.
If she weren't a hairdresser, Hollie would be a teacher.

Social Media and Marketing Manager
“I fell in love with KSH the moment I entered the mews at Lambton Place – the team, the teas with the brownies, Max and Blue, the nice music and every other detail”.
Raluca started an Msc in Media and Communications at Brunel University in September 2010 and joined us as an intern. While working at the reception, she began promoting the Facebook and Twitter page of the salon. In February 2011 she started working part time as our Social media and marketing manager, while continuing to cover reception to keep in touch with the salons’ clients.

Jessica grew up in Papakura – New Zealand – a nice place to play roller blade hockey!
Jessica always wanted to be a hairdresser, and when she was 17, her mum told her she could get her nose pierced if she started at hairdressing college. She liked this deal and trained as a colour technician!
She likes working in a hair salon because “It’s fun, hairdressers have individuality; you can be who you are without being criticised. It is a free spirited job and it allows you to be creative”.
Jessica has taken a sabbatical from hands on hairdressing to hone her skills in salon management and can be found looking after the front of house (and much more) at Golborne Road.
If she weren’t working in hairdressing, Jessica would work as a volunteer, helping people in difficult situations.

Director and Salon Manager
Leaving school aged 16 and not knowing what to do, Jacqueline started secretarial temping at an advertising agency. There she discovered her perfect job in TV production and went on to produce many TV commercials and music videos.
This experience meant she was instrumental in the setting up and continued expansion of the salons.
She now looks after the overall smooth running of the salons alongside the group's advertising, marketing and accounts.
Jacqueline would most like to welcome Ewan McGregor to the salon.
If Jacqueline wasn't Director of Kell Skött Haircare she would be working in Formula One.

Welcoming Director
Blue was born in Milton Keynes in July 2001. He doesn’t remember the area, but is disappointed he never got to see the concrete cows that the place is famous for.
He now lives in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, which he loves as it is so close to woods, fields and rivers.
Blue is a founding member of the team and has worked hard as Welcoming Director since we opened.
When not in the salon, Blue’s favourite past time is swimming or chasing pheasants, which he never tires of.
If Blue didn’t work in the salon he would be a landscape gardener.
Blue would love to welcome into the salon Armstrong and Miller as he has listened to a lot of their podcasts and thinks they are very funny.

Welcoming Director
Max was born in the quaintly named village of Spellbrook in Hertfordshire before moving to Maida Vale where he lived for some time before moving to his current home in Burnham Beeches, Buckinghamshire.
Max is a founding member of the team and as well as welcoming clients, Max is also chief brownie taster and has tasted many of them since the salon opened. Despite getting on in years (he turns 13 in January 2012) he continues to take this role very seriously and may try to taste yours if you are not quick enough.
Max would love to welcome Jamie Oliver to the salon – he is a pukka bloke and sure to have food on him!
If Max wasn't working as Welcoming Director he would be a psychologist to humans.

Kelsey was born and raised in London, she joined our team in October 2011 and is currently studying for her NVQ Level 3 at Kensington and Chelsea College.
Kelsey has always enjoyed getting her own hair done and is excited watching the way stylists work. She dreams of becoming a top colour technician and admires Katy Perry for her brave pink hair! If she had the chance to colour a celebrity's hair, she would pick Lady Gaga 'what a great challenge this would be'!
Kelsey loves Tangle Teezers, curry and going out clubbing with her friends.
Her favourite film is "Taken" and she spent her best holiday in Ibiza.
If she weren't working in hairdressing, Kelsey would still be in the beauty industry - most probably working as a make-up artist. "I love being creative and making the clients feel good about themselves".

Layal comes from Beirut, Lebanon and moved to London when she was 4 years old.
She has always wanted to be a hairdresser and is currently studying for her NVQ level 3 whilst working in the salon.
She loves Wella SP Colour Save Emulsion: "When the hair is very dry and dull, this product completely transforms it, giving it a shiny soft look within 5 minutes."
She likes Rihanna's hairstyles, but she would love to cut Victoria Beckam's hair because she is an icon for the "bob" haircut and this would be a great challenge.
Layal likes to hang out with her friends at Starbucks.

Senior Stylist and Colour Technician
Alexandra was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she lived until she was 6 years old.
She has lived in sunny southern California, New York and has now relocated to London for love.
Alexandra originally moved to New York to study fine arts and sculpture. But after a change in circumstances found herself studying hair.
Creative and still a form of sculpture in its own right, she felt fulfilled. She trained with Louis Licari, a renowned 5th Avenue hair stylist and salon owner and continued to work for him, both in New York and later in Beverly Hills, California.
It was here that Alexandra learnt her trade and honed her skills that allowed her to infuse distinctive realms of art within the spectrum of hair.
Alexandra would love to be able to collaborate and style Patrick Blanc. 'He is an artist, a creative and imaginative horticulturalist, avant guard and I admire his individuality. He creates amazing living sculptures!' If Alexandra wasn't a hairdresser she would be an art therapist.
