Our History

The first Kell Skött Haircare salon opened in Golborne Road in 2002, with a small core team who are still working in the salon today. Kell cutting, Louise colouring, Jacqueline looking after front of house and Max and Blue meeting and greeting.

We quickly established a reputation for great hairdressing services, within a very friendly, relaxed, yet highly professional environment. This enabled us to open up a second salon in Lambton Place off Westbourne Grove in July 2008.

Our professional standards

Our Stylists are trained to cut to the highest standards. An ongoing in salon training program, and the attendance of external training courses ensures that their skills are up to date and they are constantly being inspired by new trends.

Our colourists are second to none. The team includes two Wella Master Colour Experts (the highest accolade there is in the industry) and under their guidance, our colour technicians will create your perfect colour.

Our community

We have successfully adopted a friendly community philosophy. Our belief is that a hairdressing salon is the hub of any community and we are rekindling the spirit of a local neighbourhood feel. Our e-newsletter manages to successfully combine all that is current in hair trends, alongside other things of interest: recipes, offers, reviews on local shops and services, art and entertainment and so much more. Our blog “Much Loved” is simply that, everything that we love.
